Pakistan strengthened its conventional strike capabilities on September 30, 2025, by successfully launching a training launch of the locally built Fatah-4 ground-launched cruise missile. With an estimated 750-kilometer operational range, this missile is part of the recently established Army Rocket Force Command.

By flying low and carefully following the terrain, the missile’s sophisticated avionics and guidance systems enable it to avoid detection and improve target accuracy.

Senior military leaders, engineers, and scientists observed the launch, which marked a significant advancement in Pakistani defence technology. National officials stressed that this improvement would increase the reach and lethality of Pakistan’s conventional weapons and hailed the successful test as evidence of the country’s increasing missile technical independence.
